[solved] Synth patch -> new preset, Scene 3

Having a brain cramp here. I have a cool synth patch....I use for an intro to a song.
It does not have any Amp or CAB in it....due to resources, it sits at 80 now.
I need to quickly switch from this preset to Scene 3 of my main patch, dirt rhythm.

What is the best way to do this ? I thought about using the PER PRESET layout. Put the SYN preset on switch 1, and my Main patch on Switch 2......but how can i make its select Scene 3 of this Main patch ?

If I could add an amp and I cab to the SYNTH preset I could use scenes only of course......but I cannot.

thanks

Save a copy of your main preset set to scene 3. Be sure to set the default scene to As Saved.

Ahh, but I have FM3 to always default to scene 1 REX, quietest scene.....so it does not blow out on scene 3 or 4...

But you want it to blow out on scene 3, right? So you have a quandary: you want this preset to do what you’ve designed it not to do :)

I guess it’s time to create a new preset — one that has a copy of scene 3 saved to scene 1.

The long-term solution: set your FM3 to default to the last-saved scene, and then save your presets on the quietest scene.
