SOLVED: Momentary Volume jump changing scenes on FW 8 public beta 1

Hi @Guvna, out of curiousity i also looked into it. Your issue is caused by 'spillover'. When your delay switches to another channel (from D to A in your case), the volume bump occurs because of the increased mix value in channel A (as @unix-guy already stated).

More information about spillover can be found on the wiki:

A possible solution is described in the following post in another thread:
When you switch, the channel on the block will spill over. However, it will take the settings of the new channel as it switches over. I have found that making the channels the same fixes this. Make sure you use at least two blocks, make sure spill is enabled, make sure to use the Mute effects in bypass mode. and make sure to time the switching between notes.

For example:

Scene 1
Delay block 1 Channel A light delay on
Delay block 2 Channel B heavy delay off

Scene 2
Delay block 1 Channel A light delay off
Delay block 2 Channel B heavy delay on

When switching between them they both maintain the original settings while spilling over without glitching

Great answer! This just solved something that's been bugging me for weeks 😆
Funny how just reading random threads can unexpectedly resolve an issue. That's why I really like this forum because people are genuinely interested in fixing stuff 👍🏻

Excellent - that is exactly what I needed. Now I understand. Thank you @md1234 and @unix-guy, like @WhiteRoom said, this is a brilliant forum. I've learned a lot and this is the first time I've had to ask. Glad I have a Fractal and am here
