I'm having trouble with the looper with my FC-6. When I press RECORD, the start of the phrase is cut off such that I don't hear the note attack.
I switched to Layout 5 (Looper) and it works just great.
Hmm, what's different? Layout 5 has REC, on FS1 and PLAY on FS2. I had REC on FS3 and PLAY on FS6. I wonder...
Sure enough, if I use FS1 & FS2 for REC/PLAY respectively, it works like a charm. Put the RECORD control on any other foot switch, and it cuts off the beginning of the note.
Of course, I thought this might be the dreaded Hold Function "problem", but it is not. I don't have hold functions on these foot switches. I even removed hold functions on all other FSs to see if there was some "bleed".
Can anyone reproduce this problem?
