Hi,
I'm sorry for bumping this thread again, but I just want to share that I managed to fix the problems and in the future my solution could help someone.
First in Logic Pro I went to menu -> Preferences -> Advanced Tools and checked "Control Surfaces".
Then menu -> Control Surfaces -> Setup
In the panel I could see 7 devices, being 5 of them with an exclamation mark pointing that they were in a weird state. The other two were "Mackie Control", one set to my "X-Touch INT" in/out port and the other set to Axe-Fx III in/out ports. I delete the 5 broken devices and also that one pointing to Axe-Fx III, keeping only the X-Touch INT one.
That solved 3 problems that I was having: the automation using CC/PC, Axe-Edit stopped working while Logic was playing, and the X-Touch couldn't change the page (Bank +/- was not doing anything).
Now everything is working exactly how I would expect and I am very happy!
Thanks again for those who gave ideas and suggestions here. Now excuse me that I'm gonna play some guitar!
