[solved] HD500 change scenes - lag

Hi,

I use HD500 to change scenes in Fractal (Setup / Midi Remote / Mapping). Unfortunately, I noticed a long pause in switching sound. About 0.5-1s.
It looks like the Fractal was loading the whole preset from the beginning and setting the scene.
The problem does not occur when I use the buttons on the Fractal and when to program buttons in the HD500 to switch the up / down scenes.

I have a question, is there a similar problem while using FC6 or FC12 to change scenes?

Nope, FC is like a flash. Sounds like you might have the HD500 setup for MIDI OMNI verse the specific Axe channel. Worth a check.

So the choice of scene in FC is instant. Very good.

On the HD500, I have Mapping set:
(Setup / Midi Remote / Mapping)

PC0 To preset 401 Scene 1
PC1 To preset 401 Scene 2
...

that's why I think the whole preset is loaded and that's the problem.
Maybe there is a solution for this? Maybe other commands?

You need to set Ignore Redundant PC to ON when using PC Mapping. Otherwise, as you've noted, the preset will be reloaded first.
