[solved] Doesn't look right and doesn't sound right (on playback)

I was wondering why I am getting massive clipping on playback only. When I do the take everything sounds good it's the playback that gets to me. Also worth noting it's that only on this one particular patch. I can upload the patch if it helps me.

Any chance you are monitoring straight from the AxeFX or another point before the signal reaches the recording program? This could account for it sounding ok even if you are recording too hot. And if this is the case, perhaps this one preset is pushing higher levels out than the rest of your presets? Hope you get it sorted.

Turns out, it was because my output was 2.6dB too hot. It was an easy fix thankfully and here it is better than ever.
