[solved] Axe-Fx 4CM problem or am I an idiot?

Problem - I can't get 4cm to work.

Troubleshooting done - 1) triple checked cable routing 2) verified humbuster cables work and are going right direction 3) tried 2 different amp heads with same result

I've attached pics in hopes of someone spotting my problem.

What am I missing?

It’s been a while since I used 4CM, but don’t you have to connect the output of the FXLoop block to the grid Output in Axe-Edit?

Nothing is connected to out 1, the tall output block on the right.

I've tried both of the routing scenarios in the attached pics. They both give me a dry signal without delay effect.

The 2nd pic is not 4CM.

Are both output knobs turned up? Is your amps effects loop turned on or up if it has those options?

Review your cables:

Out 2 to amp input
Out 1 to amp return
Amp send to In 2
Guitar to Axe In 1

Solved! It was a cable that was intermittently cutting out.
