I really like the size and weight of the Soft Step. Hopefully this version will be easier to program.

Interesting. We'll see. I wouldn't hold my breath on it being easier, but it does look like they've addressed some of the limitations that kept me away from the SS1.

i have and luv the first one...but the software and the company is pain in the ass. bad customer service and f*** up software. needed so much patience to figure out how to program it for ableton and for axe...once done, works great and takes no space, no weigt when u travel.

Yeah--I can't understand why they didn't make it easy for Axe users. Would have sold a bunch...
