I was thinking about that, too. You're right only with context we know Slash's UYI sound, so it makes sense to hear the preset together with the other instruments. I gonna record something during the upcomming week.

Constructive criticism is allways wellcome to me. Thanks. I'm not sure if we talk about the same "clank" but the only "clank" I hear is there on purpose. IMO it's characteristic for the UYI-Tone. I hear it everywhere in the album (especially when Slash hits the lower E or A string).

Anyone with a third opinion?

Remove blanket effect its more buzzy sound.

I've been trying to Tone Match from the intro to Don't Damn Me but gave up after several poor attempts. I rarely find Tone Matching satisfactory but prefer to try and use cab block and ears.
