I've had my Axe II for a couple of weeks and have been able to build patches to cover a lot of what I enjoyed playing with my old amp/pedalboard setup. The "woman" tone that Slash uses on the solo for November Rain seems to be eluding me. I am finding it difficult to put something together using my neck pickup with the tone rolled back that gets me there without to much pick attack sound or not enough sustain. I'm looking for that smooth melodic deep tone that he uses on that solo. I've tried the Slash patches I've found on Axe-Change etc. but they seem mostly built to cover AFD tones....I've tweaked and tweaked but can't get happy.
Any patches out there that anybody thinks could get me close would be much appreciated......
