Needing some advice / recommendations!
I'm looking to incorporate the effects (reverb and delay) from the axe fx into my real amp rig. The goal would be to use these effects last in the signal chain as my amp doesn't have an effects loop.
I believe the signal chain would look like this:
Guitar -> Pedals (overdrive and compressor) -> Amp -> Mic'd Cab -> Mic Pre w/ line out -> Axe FX (effects) -> soundboard
The only way I know how to do this is to run the Mic'd cab into a mic pre and then add the axe fx effects. Are there other ways to do this without a mic pre?
Any recommendations for a solid high quality mic preamp? This would mainly be for live use.
