Show us your AM4 boards!

If they do you it will likely come at the cost of some CPU and may limit what you can do in a preset with a pitch block. So just keep that in mind.
Yeah it would only be on an as-needed basis and exploring the idea of going to presets per each scene, utilizing the gapless swtiching

Finally got the version put together that I plan to use this weekend.

Rockboard Tres 3.0 with patch bay. I have the AM4 Left output routed to the XLR out. The Right output connected to the adjacent TRS jack on the patch bay (Jack "E"). This is for sending to my monitor's Channel B input. Jack "A" is the input from my Guitar. B-D are unused for now.

Still waiting for the Pirate Midi Aero to come in, but for now, I've opted to use the 2-button external Mission TT2, in stead of the Boss EV30 Exp pedal. I noticed a bit of tone-suck when I had it controlling the output block and using it for "tuner on heel down"... so I'm going to stick (for now) with using the amp mode amp boost on the AM4 for solos.

TT-2 is set up to turn on/off individual Effects. Works regardless of the mode I'm in, but it will allow me to stay in Amp-mode 95% of the time and choose between my 4 amp channels.

Riverside gives me two individually selectable drives in front, and the Wah pedal does what it does. Power by CIOKS DC7 and Crux.

Tempted to add an HX One or a Zoom MS-70cdr+ to the AM4 to give me the effects missing on the AM4 as well as a 5th block. Just feel Fractal missed the mark a bit by not including the Pitch block. I could probably live with the other limitations, but now pushing to the point where maybe just getting an FM3 would make more sense. I already have an FM9 so wanted the AM4 for the simplicity.
I tried an HX One in front of my AM4 for pitch shifting, but the noise floor on the HX was horrible and when used with a higher gain amp, added way too much noise.

I tried a Zoom MS-50G (the original one) for pitch shifting (no poly capo, just harmonizing or octave) and worked decently and allowed me to offload even more effects. Drawback is that the OG Zoom (non +) has noticeable tone suck, so now planning on either figuring out a switching method to have a direct path to AM4 unaffected, or just setting it up on a separate (smaller) board with a few more drive pedals that I can plug in as an “auxiliary “ board when needed only.

I had an original CDR. The new Plus is much better re Tone suck, higher quality sound, and the Ply Pitch is reported to track pretty well. I am think th CDR+ would be great o nthe front end for a dedicated Compressor, Chorus, and Pitch in the chain, all on one preset. Then just use the Drives, Amp, Delay and Reverbs onthe AM4 as normal.

Good to know! I might looking into the CDR+ then as an option (love my OG, aside from tone suck).

Current iteration but still WIP. I am setting up a secondary board with additional drives, Zoom MS-50G and a Valeton GP-5 (for NAM captures) for sh*ts and giggles, but this iteration is my “enjoy some drives but can run standalone if needed” through monitors or amp+cab. The chocolate pedal has scenes mapped to it for the time being, with the AM4 in Effects mode all the time.

I actually decided and bought a Line 6 HX One pedal, used. I don't have it yet, but I think it will be the perfect compliment to the AM4, for a few reasons. I did contemplate the cost and going with a more capable FM3 at this point but I dont want the old interface(I have an FM9 already). The HX One is only one effect at a time, but it has advanced midi features so I should be able to send CCs to it on the scene changes to load any effect I want on the fly, unlike another block on the AM4 which is limited to the channels that are part of the block. Also, it has a great Poly Pitch/Capo. It also has great OD/distortions that are at least as good as Fractal (I had a Helix before), so I can stack Drives like I like doing. I can use a dedicated Chorus without sacrificing an AM4 block (Currently using the Delay Trick which sounds good, but I really need that Extra Delay channel to assign delay subdivisions since that parameter is not controllable via a modifier(Which really is needed). Lastly, it has an FX loop that can be assigned by preset, so if I can have it at the input, but then on specific preset effects, like Delay and Reverb) it will run thriugh the Insert loop of the AM4 (only in Mono though).

What I forsee if it all works as planned is a real Input Compressor as an always on effect , unless I need something else, then Drive, Chorus, Pitch as needed, switching per presets or scene. I have to see what I can set up with my Midi controller, but thinking I can also assign Tap Tempo to both the AM4 and the HX One via my midi controller, since the AM4 can't send Midi Clock (Which really needs to be added too). I almost bough an HX Effects which I think would be a perfect companion to the AM4 but didnt want to get too deep, since this is a secondary to my FM9 at this time.

Are the screws only for the feets ?
Not for keeping the unit assembled
I removed the feet from the AM4 and VP4 because they were taller than the dual lock I wanted to use to secure the pedals to the board. The unit did not come apart, so I think it is safe to assume that the screws simply secure the feet to the pedal. You can see my board in post #52.

Sounds good. Curious on your experience with the Hx One as I recall it was a bit noise in front of amps from discussing with other folks.
