Shipping from Canada to U.S. advice

Purchasing some guitar related parts from Canada. Physically it's a small package and the total cost is $200 U.S. Any advice for how to have the item shipped? Are certain methods more costly than others? Should I expect a duty charge? Is there a table to consult? Thanks in advance.

I have shipped a hundred items to the states, from guitars to golf clubs. I use Canada Post which hands off to USPS for delivery. I have never heard of the buyer being charged duty, especially on used items.
