Don't feel obligated to use what you're "supposed" to. After getting a tone I like I'll usually strap it across all the channels and make changes to single parameters at a time to eke out something I like even better. The impedance curve I end up with rarely ever matches my cabinets, or the speakers they're loaded with.

Awesome do you leave the resonance freq alone or change it?
