Sending cabinets to different sides

Is it possible to use dual cabinets and send each of them to their own side? For instance If I were using a basic setup with a 6150 mod going to two different cabinets could I send Cab A to the left and Cab B to the right? This would be for recording. I use the Ax8 into the Scarlett 2i4.

Currently I run one cable from the Ax8 to the Scarlett. Would I need to run 2 cables instead and send each to it's own input on the Scarlett? I know that this is probably obvious to most users but I am not at home at the moment so I can't mess with it myself.

Yes, stereo = 2 channels = 2 cables
