I'm happy for your scoop, even tho it's not my cup of tea!
I would not call him a new Metheny, he seems more focused on the mainstream. What I love about Metheny is his ability to just make music, regardless its genre
While I can appreciate a jazz tune, it tends to leave me cool (pun intended) after some time.
Thanks for introducing a new musician to me!
