Scenes, Channel question

New to channels and scratching my head.
Scenario:
  • Preset 1
  • Scene 1
  • Amp Block Channel 1 TX Lead

  • Preset 1
  • Scene 2
  • Amp Block Channel 2 TX Lead

Channel 2 Amp Block in scene 2 can have different parameters than scene 1 because it’s a different channel correct? And it won’t affect any other presets that may use the same block and channel?

Yes !
And I think you mean Channel A to D.
You can have the same Amp in every channel with different settings or different Amps in every channel.
Also with Drive, Delay and all the other Blocks.
Further you can use modifiers in addition to change parameters in the channels for example gain with expression pedal or reverb level or usind pitch-follower or other stuff.

P. 15 in the manual is your friend, along with the pages referenced there.

Think of scenes as different on/off states of your various blocks, and the 4 channels within each block can be set to different parameters, and can use different types of whatever that block is.
You can set channel A of an amp block to a clean setting using any of the various amp models, set channel B to different parameters of either the same amp or a different one, and so on with channels C & D. Same with the other block types, whether it be an effect, cab, etc.
Then, Scene 1 could be set to use the amp block on channel A, and a delay, then Scene 2 could be set to use channel B of the amp block, and bypass the delay. That way, when you switch scenes, you can change many things at once.

It really is too confusing. Every manufacturer has their "terminology." Just call it pedals, settings, switcher, or something.

Thanks for the clarification. Wow this thing is powerful!
It sure is.
As others stated - the amp settings, for each channel of the amp, are independent for each preset.
But if you do have amp settings you want to carry into another preset, you can save the amp block (channel) and bring it to another preset.
Read up on saving blocks...very useful.
