Scene Changing For New Effects

I tried searching for something like this, but with this forum's use of the words "scenes" and "changes," it was all but impossible to find.

Is there a way to have a preset change its scene without manual input, via either footpedal, switch, or front panel buttons? I know you can kind of do it with your DAW and MIDI, but I would like it to be contained within my beautiful black box.

If not, is it possible to incorporate a "Scene Block/Sequencer" of sorts? Options including swap to Scene 2 from 1 after 1000ms, etc.

The possibilities are almost limitless with this. Beyond using it for sequencing different keys for pad and synth scenes, you can also get some outstanding effects going on with spillover and parameters changing in real time.

A great example of it is Preset 335: Comb Delays, from Bank C of the new factory presets. Arpeggiate a chord with Scene 3 and on your last note select Scene 2 and start your next chord. Beautiful glitch-esque effects.
