Scene Change with External Switches

I've set up an external momentary switch to "Scene Incr" to switch to the next scene, however, I seem to have to double tap the switch for it to actually take effect. Anybody have any idea how I can make it work with one tap?

Don't have the AX8 anymore but doesn't the switch need to be set to latching? Just trying to run through the setup in my head.

Maybe you need to set the increment +1?

I have a very similar problem. I have my external switch set to toggle between scene 1 and scene 8( I don't remember how to set that up, and could use some advice on that actually). antway, when changing presets, I have to tap the switch twice for it to change scenes, but only the first time on said preset. Then if I change to another preset I have to remember to tap twice the first time to engage the switch.
