Has anyone tried to record into iMovie from a scarlett device using mixcontrol ?
I'm trying to record video of myself using iMovie and the facetime camera, at the same time getting the sound from a garageband track. So basically getting iMovie to record the sound from the axe and garageband at the same time. I have my axe output 2 going into the scarlett interface, and the output from garage band is the USB to the scarlett. When I try and record to iMovie, all I hear is the axe, but no backing garageband track. When I look at mixcontrol, as I play the track and the axe, I hear and see the graphs for both. I really don't know shit about mixcontrol and it confuses the hell out of me. I got it set up to work fine with garage band and that's all I needed until now. I think I might just be missing a special way to have mixcontrol set up. Anyone have any ideas ??
