Wow.
Wow also. That'd be my guess. I'll really be surprised if someone like Petrucci makes a switch.Wow.
Possible fallout from sale of M/B to Gibson?
I do seem to remember watching a rig rundown in which he had amps other than Mesa.I know Mesa has been his go-to, but hasn't he also been using Dumbles for a long time?
He had Dumbles on stage, along with different versions of the Mesa amps in photos and videos I've seen. I think he used a Twin, maybe it was at Woodstock, but that might have been borrowed. He was using more recent versions of the 1x12 combo too, and then dug his original out of storage, loved how it returned him to his original sound, which is when Mesa rereleased the original Boogie. Mesa dropped it from their product listings, so maybe that was what precipitated the break, but he's still on their endorsers list.I know Mesa has been his go-to, but hasn't he also been using Dumbles for a long time?
From the article:My money is on PRS.
"I used Dumble amplifiers, the 100-watt Overdrive Reverb,” he continued. “Dumble is the sound of flesh against flesh. I also used the Bludotone 100-watt Universal Tone: it’s an amplifier that’s made in Colorado."
He knows. There's one in his rig for FOH.Someone needs to tell him the Axe has Dumbles and Bludotones in it.
Meaning that FOH gets the Axe signal, not his mic'd amps?He knows. There's one in his rig for FOH.
Maybe ... Could ...
