No. Gear with a power switch is made to be turned off when you’re not using it. I don’t understand leaving things on all the time (other than resting specific things) personally.

I asked about this at the time the fans were updated and was told that it was not something that could be done on older units.

with an accumulator, but if you buy renewable energy, you shouldn’t really care how it’s produced.

The fan only runs when needed. Mine rarely turns on in the colder months.

On the newer version the fan only turns on when needed. The original version has the fan running all the time. If you only hear the fan sometimes, you have the newer one.
