Running FM9-Edit and FM3-Edit at the same time

Can you run/work both Editors at the same time?

YES. I run all three unit editors - and also Fractalbot (from editor) at the same time - AxeFx III, FM9 and FM3 often. No issues/works great.

And you can run multiple instances of each editor if you have multiples of the same device (does require some minor hackery of the config file though).

Yes - although I never got that to work for me-- so just got a USB A/B switch for my two Axe-Fx IIIs and go between them that way. Would be nice if this was enabled somehow in the editor software though....

It differently worked for me with FM9 as I manage 2 for the band.

But I haven't used it in a while...

One important thing is to make sure the editor isn't running when you edit the config file.
