Run Axe Fx II as FX unit for Software Instruments

How would I go about using Axe as audio interface w usb ......using Logic.........and sending a dry logic synth track, for example, back into the axe and out again, having used the axe's effects?

Just do like you would with reamping, except without any amp/cab blocks
