Wasnt sure where to post buuut, does anybody have any experience with using the axe fx and an external mix pre to set up their room measurement session? For what it's worth I'm using a presonus adl 600 mic pre. Not sure how to set it all up. What to change in I/O, what outs and inputs to use when calibrating, whether to use a stereo or mono configuration etc etc etc

Soooo anyone?

Not sure what you are doing here? Are you wanting to use the axe as an analyzing tool? It doesn't have that capability

He is asking about using the AxeFx as a soundcard.

The Room EQ Wizard is a freeware tool that can use any PC soundcard.

Yeah. The axe fx is my interface. Trying to see if anybody else here has used REW with their axe fx acting as a sound card. That's all. I'm well aware the axe fx doesn't have an RTA... (yet) lol

I have REW but have not used it much and didn't use the AxeFx II with it.

I would start with an all shunt preset and then use USB to the computer and rear input 1 for the mic pre. I suspect the levels aren't critical except not to clip.
