R.I.P. to the Godfather of Metal. So fucking sad, but we knew it was coming. Im fucking sobbing like a child.

So much music! All the Sabbath, through the brief but brilliant Blizzard of Oz, the Jake E Lee stuff, and No more Tears with Zack Wylde. My first concert at 16 in 1984. Got to see him Three times Fly High to one of the very first ambassadors of heavy music.

I saw him with Black Sabbath in '78 (Van Halen opener), and solo on the "Bark at the Moon"(Motley Crue opener), "The Ultimate Sin" (Queensryche opener) and "No More Tears" (Alice In Chains opener) tours.

One thing about Ozzy: he brought on some renowned guitarists.

Me too, Sabbath in 1978(with VH on their first tour opening), and fortunately was able to see him with RR in 81(or so). Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman are just classics, period.

He left the everything he had on that stage 17days ago. Truly a sad day for music, but his legend, legacy and music will always be there. So glad I got to see him as many times live as I did.

I remember seeing him on the Bark at the Moon tour in Toronto thinking that he was getting pretty old and I better see him then or may not have the chance to in the future. I think that was 1984. I certainly didn't think he would still be performing 40 years later!

RIP Ozzy, you have touched more lives than you know… There will never be another Ozzy, I’m glad I was able to enjoy his music for pretty much my entire life.

I was born in 1967, with a 10 year older brother that was already playing the guitar. I remember him playing that ‘scary record’ as one of my very first memories.
