Very sad news.

What a rocker. I saw Deep Purple and Jon Lord in the early days at a local venue. He would rock the B3 back and forth (no easy task), while playing incredibly. He paved the way for many other keyboardists in rock and will be missed.

Yes .... the sound of that Hammond's spring reverb being bashed was a highlight when I saw him 'rocking it' during his solo spot with Whitesnake many years back ..... sad news.

I have to take a sad listen to all my Deep purple vinyl records.
As a guitarist I really found Jon Lord to be a huge inspiration on how to perform.
Jon Lord was a great musician and will be sorely missed!
