Riding the Volume with V10...

Seems like I can cover so much more ground than before with a good crunch preset....Is it just me or is riding the guitar volume with V10 just sick?!?

It's not just you. V10 is more responsive to volume changes. Very cool.

That's what I've been at since V10 came out.
One preset (dumble) and a volume knob.

Yeah I'm digging it too!
And I just redid my Les Paul's with 50's wiring.
So riding the volume is now a must!

Nope, it's not you; v10 is sick...I too have always used the volume a lot and my main crunch preset is also 'connecting' much better with that control in v10.

Still riding the vol pot -- this time on FW10!

This is something I notised right off the bat especially with the USA Rhythm set clean and engaging the boost, roll back the volume knob and the dynamics are freaking incredible and the tone is nice and chimey.

Try the Friedman BE preset, Bass 3, treble and mid to 7. Single coil neck on a strat...volume down to around 7 on rythm or cleanish stuf and 10 for leads, very nice.
