red light only in "axe fx" mode

just curious, waiting for the axe fx II , i use my new MFC with other gear , i noticed that when it's not in axe fx mode , the "off" status of #cc are not red but light off , is it normal or may i do something wrong ? thanks

BTW here's my pedalboard with it (notice the "boss" labels )

LOVE the Boss labels ... were you able to order those from a dealer?
