Recto Orange/5150 axefx test for the brutisque.

My drummer came by tonight. He layed some tracks on a song we wrote about 20 years ago. Here's the first few bars. Axefx direct to chandler tg-2 preamp into logic.

Those amps blend well together, Do you have them on the same patch or just separate tracks and blended together on the board?

That has to be one of the most high pitched and compressed snares I've heard in my life

Thanks guys. It was two tracks recto left. 2 tracks peavey right. The cab is a Catharsis studio fredman Mesa V-30. I used a esp std viper with the recto and a Suhr classic tele with the 5150. I feel you on the snare. Unfortunately, the drummer made the call on the snare. He played on a cheap roland e-kit through superior drummer.

Very tasty. With the right verb on those guitars, it could be really close to the Anthrax tone on the "Spreading the Disease" album. Pretty similar to "Leper Messiah" from Metallica too. I have to go break something now. Well done!! :lol:
