recording audio and webcam video - mac help

been trying to record from my webcam using quicktime, but it will only record audio in mono...whether i set the audio input to my interface or the axe fx

anybody know of a cheap (preferably free) app that will allow me to record from my webcam with stereo audio?

i have logic studio, so actually recording audio is no problem, but i then have to edit onto my video, which is a bit of a pain. i need something like quicktime that will record audio and video simultaneously...but the audio needs to be stereo...
 
does that work on a mac?

i've just tried imovie and that records in mono as well...grrr....
 
Sorry, I thought you were going to be syncing the 2. I don't really know if many free NLE's for video....if you have adobe you could use OnLocation for capture, but that is def not free...works well though. Ill look around and see if I can come up with anything. I agree syncing can be a tedious process, but I've heard there are apps available to sync vid with third party audio..maybe people can chime in on that?
