Random patch changes during rehearsal tonight...

So I was rehearsing tonight for a huge show I have next week and I was getting some strange behaviour from my Axe all night. I have a Mark II with an MFC Mk II, and it kept randomly changing patches while I was playing. Sometimes it would just change one patch over, sometimes it would move up or down a bank (5 presets), so I'm thinking it's an MFC issue? I'm not sure where the problem lies, so I figured I'd post it in this forum as it's got the most eyeballs .I'm using an ethercon cable to connect the MFC. I'll test it out over the next couple days with MIDI cables and see if that changes anything. Maybe my cable's going bad?

I'd try it without the MFC all together first, just to rule out everything there. If it doesn't happen, add it back in and change things one piece at a time, so you know when you've found the root cause.
