He was featured on a CBS program with his wife, who said his memory had severely degraded and couldn't remember very much. The moment they put a mic. in his hand, however and put him on stage with Lady Gaga, it's like there was nothing wrong with him.

Everyone has their favorite crooner usually from a short list featuring Tony, Frank, Bing, Nat, Dean, Sam, Sammy (maybe a few others).

My favorites were always Tony Bennet and Sam Cooke. I loved the way he injected some new creativity with his Duets albums late in his career too. Definitely one of the greatest Jazz pop singers ever in my book.

I hope he is having fun making more duets on a stage with all the other musicians in the great beyond!
