Quick Tone Match Question

Hey guys,

Just sold the Ultra recently and trying out the II and Tone Matching. I have a stereo file loaded in PT but the guitar I am TM'ng is on the left channel. Does the Tone Match feed need to be a full mono or full stereo signal to work precisely?
