quick recording question

Hi All -
I am getting better results mic-ing my cab with power amp then tracking directly to protools via usb.

Is that the case with you folks, mic-ing the cab rather than direct?

Any insight greatly appreciated.
I know a bit vague and vast topic.

If you're using a amp/cab you need to turn on power amp sims and insert cab block before recording out to USB.

I think he says you must activate the cabinet simulation in the global menu and put a cab block in your grid if you intend to record via usb.
