Question on the output of the Atomic MB50

I've got a Marshall 1960AV cab. From what I can tell, it will do 4ohm or 16 ohm in Mono depending on which side you plug into when on the mono switch side. It will do 8ohm a side in stereo. If I buy the MB50, it looks like it only has an 8ohm option but two outputs. Is the only way to properly balance this with the 1960AV to run my cab in stereo and run two cables to it? I tried reading the MB50 manual and wasn't able to make heads or tails on the answer.
 
it will be safe for you to plug the MB from the 8ohm output to the 16 mono of the marshall cab, but DO NOT run it from the 8ohm MB to the 4ohm Marshall mono you can overload the impedence and blow the MB, cabinet, or both
