Question for US Matrix owners

I have a question for US customers who have bought direct from Matrix. I am looking at buying an amp from Matrix. What kind of Customs fees should I expect?

I don't remember if there were any, but if so they were minimal. Contact Matrix directly, they should be able to tell you.

+1 I don't recall any duty as part of the cost, so it must have been minimal

No surprises bro -- it is minimal -- just have a check handy for the UPS guy when he drops off the goodies.

I bought something from the UK two years ago,not music related at all.The customer service people over there were able to get the customs fees wavered by declaring the shipment as a repair.Maybe the people at Matrix can do the same for you.

Nice $100 surprise for Matrix amp and $300 surprise for 2 x Q12's shipped to Canada. Thanks UPS and Canada Customs.

I bought a GT1000 and paid no duty fee to the US. I have heard others had to pay duty fees for the heavier larger items such as the speaker cabs.

None on the amp, but $75 per Q12 or CFR12.
