I want to use the 3 LED statuses when I get my MFC, however for my "gain boost" I toggle 2 levels within the amp block using a modifyer.
From what I read I cant get this to "auto display" or use the 3 LED states. As I understand it, I have to have the MFC in Axe mode, and assign a button to an Effect for this to happen. Is this the case, or can I also assign a button to a modifyer and still have the MFC react?
If not, can I use a block - say a Filter - with null settings (so it doesnt effect the sound when switched in) as the effect, but assign a modyfyer to the same button? That way the MFC should poll the Axe to see if the filter block in in the patch, and whether it is on or off - but the modyfyer will mirror that. the LEDs will then show the state of the modyfyer (that is Red for low level and Green for high lovel - like a channel select).
