Question about yellow circles on parameters

I saw a video posted where the user had the graphic EQ sliders automated to move when higher notes were played. What is this function called? I can find it in the user manual if I know what it's called.

He's using a controller for the EQ. Anytime you see a solid yellow circle associated with a parameter it means it is linked to a controller (wah is very common).

I think it's more appropriate to say that it's attach to a modifier. All the modifiable parameters have that yellow circle, but there are other ways to control them than controllers. Could be pitch, LFO etc.

What you're looking for is a modifier on those controls. Right click to open the modifier menu, then you can attach sources like pedals or pitch followers and tune how they behave.

It's a great manual. In my original post I asked what the function was called so I could find it in the manual. Leon's video helps a lot!
