as I understand the axe fx III will function as a midi interface when connected to a computer via usb.And indeed I see the midi in and out in ableton in the preferences.I can send midi from ableton to the axe fx via usb but the other way won't work for me.My midi controller (gordius LG) is connected to the midi in of the axe fx and sends all kinds of midi messages to the axe fx and ableton.
With my other midi interface (roland UM One) every midi message to the midi in is send to the computer via usb.
For some reason I can't get this to work.Of course the axe responds to midi but ableton gets nothing.
Maybe this is not possible?
No big deal if it ins't but it would be nice if I could ditch the UM-One.
