Queensrÿche: Something Old, Something New...

Hey guys!

So, Queensrÿche is more or less my life, and this week I've covered two of their tracks - the classic Queen Of The Reich and the hard rocking Guardian off the latest release Condition Hüman. I recorded all the guitar parts over the top of the original recording using my Axe Fx 2 into Logic X. Added some delay and phaser after the fact on QotR (delay on intro/pre chorus and phaser on the octaves in the solo). Hope you enjoy!

Thank you! All Friedman HBE, except the clean on Guardian, I forget what I used for that. Probably a Fender I think!

Thank you so much mate! Yeah, it really does everything I need it to do. I dabble with a few amp sims from time to time for that kinda chunky high gain sound, but always come back to the HBE. It is absolutely amazing!

I have actually done it already, but not with the Axe Fx 2 or fancy video software unfortunately! It might be time to redo it for better quality! Here it is from a few years back...when I had hair
