Prog Metal + Jazz ? (8string + Stratocaster / Swing, Groove and Polyrhythms)

HEY !

Just finished a new track, progressive metal and jazz stuff !



Made new patches with the Axe fx II, using the Das Metall + FAS Crunch for rhythm guitar, Double verb for the "stratocastian" lead, and the SV Bass + Tube preamp for bass !
Actually I used more than 3 patches here... (if you have any question about it...)

_I played and recorded all the drums with my alesis DM6 kit and Superior drummer (using my favorites elements from Evil Drums, Metal Machine, Metal Foundry and Avatar libraries). Actually I'm firstly drummer ^^
_8 String guitar with my Agile Septor (Di-Marzio D-Activator)
_Fender USA Stratocaster 1969 (my father's)

First part is more metal, and second is completely jazz ^^
Maybe we'll play this track with my band.. maybe.

Aw yeah, I absolutely love gojira, got all album (I met them twice in person as they from Bordeaux haha !)
But they don't come in first when it comes to my direct influences in this style (jazz + metal prog).
And if I had to mention all my influences and artists I like, the list would be endless haha.
