Problems with Tap Tempo and EV2 (as Wah controller)

Dear Fractal FM9 specialists,

after having installel FW11 to my beloved FM9 i recognized following problem:

On FS6 I have Tap / Tuner and my EV2 controlls my Wah-block.
In the past it worked flawlessly.

Today I recognized the following:

  • I tap in a tempo ... e.g. 100BPM --> this works
  • as soon as I move the EV2 for Wah use, the BPM of the FM9 rise up to the maximum of 250 BPM and remain at 250 BPM

EV1 is connected to Pedal 1 jack, is calibrated and works perfect with the Wah block
The issue here is the changing of the BPM

Maybe ist's only a little tweak I haven't found yet ... after three hours of searching :-(

Hopefully sombody out there understands what I'm trying to explain

THX a lot for your support in advance and best regards!!

Greetings, Anselm

Can you show some pictures of your pedal jack configuration?

Does the tempo go to 250 and stay there or does it "follow" the movement of the pedal?

The tempo - once reached 250 BPM - stays there ... no following of the pedal
Additionaly I added two stand in switches (OCD-switches) to switch to the preset layout and to toggle a volume boost (works perfect)

Hey unix guy,

this WAS a weird one.
THX a lot for the hint given above.

At MIDI/Remote Menu, on tab OTHER, Tempo Tap was set to Pedal 1 ... this caused "the weired one"
Obviously the result of: "tweaked by NOOBS" ... I still gotta have to learn very much on this unit

I set it to none ... and it works again as before

As this is a global setting, all other presets behave the same!

Thank you very much for your help and your assistance

BR, Anselm ... and have a pleasant week!
