Problems With Exporting Patch

Hi all,

I dialed in a cool sounding patch (which I'd like to share with the forum). I clicked on "Save As", named the patch and saved it to the "Workspace" folder. When I open Windows Explorer, it appears as a MS Excel file (Not a .csv file). I've tried to upload it to a post a few times, but no luck so far. Can somebody help me?

The File Upload Manager says my .cvs file is invalid.

MS Excel is the default program associated with .csv files on windows if you have Office installed. If you want to view the file right click on it and open it with another program like Notepad. You can also change the file extension to .txt if you like.

IIRC you can only upload patches to the site in SysEx format. I'd re-export it as SysEx and try uploading that.

I figured it out. I had to take a snapshot...which saved it as the correct file type. Then I moved it to the patches folder on my drive.
