Problem with FXL block

I am trying to run an Andrenalinn drum machine through the FXL block. I have it connected to input 2 but input 2 immediately clips and I get nothing but hum. Any ideas?

Try turning that down until the unit doesn't clip.

As for the hum, what kind of cables are you using? Does the unit work plugged into something else?

What setting do you have in the I/O Audio menu for Inout 2 - left only?
 
The problem was the cables I was using. Was using the same thin cables I have running to motors and problem solved when I used thicker guitar cables. Thanks!
