Power Conditioner On/Off Master Switch

I've been thinking about using a power conditioner as a master power on/off switch for my rack where my axe fx 2 and wireless sit. My question is would my axe fx get damaged (even over time) if I was to keep the axe fx switch on and turn it on/off through the power conditioner?

I have been using mine for over three years this way and all is well so far.

You can do that safely. From the Axe-FX point of view, using a master switch it's the very same thing of using the Axe switch.

I use my power conditioner as a main on/off switch for damn near everything in my studio. Computer & screen, monitors, audio interface, axe fx...... I have my racked gear plugged directly into the conditioner then for all my other stuff I have a surge protector power strip plugged into the conditioner and mounted on the wall behind it. It's so nice being able to walk in and flip one switch to turn everything on.
