Popping noises and hissing sounds

At least i read up to turn off monitors before the axe to avoid those popping.

Now ive discovered popping noise when changing preamp type, is that normal?
Usually comes randomly when i choose a preamp type, usually quiet noises but once it was pretty loud when choosing transformer.

Also micropopping when adjusting threshold on IN 1 but only when notes are still ringing.

Lastly i accidently switched work clock on Axe iii to SPDIF/Aes (no cable to it) and got a huge hissing sound. Which stops when i switch back to Internal.

Is all these popping and hissing normal under these circumstances?

Monitors with xlr -> axe -> guitar and usb to laptop.

Yes it's normal. Changing some parameters in real time can sometimes cause popping or other transitional artifacts.

When you say "preamp" do you mean in the Cab block?

If so, then yes - normal.
