pop noise when I turn on

When I'm going to play I first turn on the Fm3 and after a few seconds my speaker, if I do it the other way around I hear that pop noise. I like to leave the headphones connected on the Fm3, but I don't want to have to unplug it every time to not hear that pop noise.

My question is: can this pop noise damage my headphones? or can it damage my speakers?

In pro audio you should always have speakers/phones powered off prior to turning anything on generating an audio signal. And vice versa when powering down - speakers/phones off, then turn off whatever is generating the signal.
