I have read the manual and I really can't figure out how to setup the intel harmony.
I am using the Ionian Maj scale and have set the correct key.
Certain notes will work within the part but others won't.
I'm assuming because any given part will not stay in the same key throughout.
Is the "learn" function supposed to solve this issue?
If so, how does it work? I've played around with it to no success.
As well I don't get how to use custom notes.

More details would be useful. Are you trying to recreate an existing harmony? Maybe it's not entirely based on the interval you selected, or the required scale changes in spots.

"Learn" allows adjusting the "key" parameter by playing a note, nothing more.

The tune is Big Shot by Billy Joel - I'm doing the sax part.
So the issue I was having was solo the continually changing from C to G
I managed to play around with the custom notes and got it to work!
I'm not entirely sure what I did mathematically but I changed the tonic to G and note 2 in the custom key.
Now when the part goes to G it plays the right interval.
