Pitch Block - Diatonic: Quad

Was this option not implemented in firmware Ares 2.0 or am I mis-reading the Wiki information?



These are the only options I can find on my Axe-Fx II, Ares 2.0.



I'm trying to re-create this Axe-Fx III preset on the II. I can duplicate everything so far, except for the cab IR and the Quad Diatonic pitch block;

Are you sure that’s not for the Axe3? I think the Axe2 Ares is just for the amp modeling. Referencing “and later” seems to be for Axe3 because there is no “later” for Axe2.

I was wondering about that. I couldn't remember, but I thought the name Ares 2.0 ended with the Axe-Fx II and when the III came out, the firmware was given a different name. Obviously not and those new options were specific to the III, as you said.

I'm thinking I can accomplish something similar using two pitch blocks in parallel?

Yeah I believe Ares launched with the Axe3, and he did as much as possible to get the amp updates to the Axe2 which was already EOL’d.
